Abstract

One of the phenomena of the XXI century and great protagonist of the twentieth century, have been the migratory movements, especially in Europe, and with great repercussion in our country. The issues raised by this phenomenon are complex and multidisciplinary, affecting such varied areas as health, education, justice, demography, sociology, and of course, and especially labor law and social security. The problems posed by this phenomenon and the solution to the provision of work, of the immigrant who comes to our country, is the object of this study. With a brief jurisprudential analysis and in view of the latest doctrinal contributions to the subject, we examine the legal situation of the foreign worker, who after immigrating, decides to stay in our country to work.
