Abstract
The present edition of the Alma Mater Journal is divided into two parts, the first presents seven articles on migration and its transversality, products developed in the framework of the V Ibero-American and European Congress, held in Spain in November 2017; the works were refereed and approved for publication, contain themes around the phenomenon of migration, analyze European standards and the actions that are being carried out in the fight to prevent the proliferation of crimes in relation to the needs of migrants. Taking into account the geopolitical map that surrounds the European continent, clearly migration is a very complex phenomenon, which must be assumed from several perspectives and not only from the approach of the norm, but also from the political, social and economic aspects from which derive actions to counteract the migratory movement due to wars, poverty, political conditions, etc.
The second part develops topics on criminal law and criminal policy, specifically and not very isolated from the previous topic, the articles focus on addressing for example the responsibility for war crimes from international law, and from the national regulations, legal situations are studied such as the system of criminal responsibility for adolescents, and the care, assistance and reparation of victims in relation to the procedural principles of the Colombian law 1448 of 2011.
